Solstice Hybrid System Capabilities
The Solstice Hybrid System is a high concentration solar PV/solar thermal hybrid system capable of providing electrical, heating, and air conditioning power with a single system.
Our SolarNovar trackers help provide peak performance nearly 7 hours out of the day vs. just 2 hours for a normal flat panel system. The tracker also prevents the build up of snow and other precipitation, so your system produces energy year round, no need to worry in northern climates!
Concentrated solar uses lenses to concentrate sunlight onto smaller, more efficient, and cost effective solar cells. Our lenses are designed to concentrate 10 - 100X more than any other system on the market allowing us to transfer more cost savings to the end user. The solar cells we use were originally designed for NASA's space use on satellites and space shuttles. These cells are 2-3 times more efficient than flat panel silicon cells seen on the market. If you are able to double your efficiency, you double energy production, reduce costs, and importantly reduce the required space for installation. A Solstice Hybrid System uses less than half the space of a typical flat panel solar power system, allowing Solstice to provide up to 100% of a customer's energy needs.

See above for a visual of how a solar thermal system can work. Our systems capture excess thermal energy to power hot water, space heating, or any system which it can integrate with to reduce heating demand from other sources. The thermal system can even power air conditioning systems to help keep you warm in the winter but also cool int he summer! Contact Solstice to find out how our solutions can work for you.
