Solstice CEO James Shomar met with Rep. Dan Maffei of NY's 24th district to discuss changes to our nation's incentive structure and the future of the energy industry. Proposals include a change in incentive metrics from kW to kWh which more accurately measure sustainable energy system benefits to the consumer. Proposals also include incentives which focus on utility grid connection costs rather than panel costs in urban network areas. Solstice plans to contribute objectively to the conversation on energy and sustainability to benefit our society both financial and environmentally. Future updates to come.
